An example of a custom application which is proving so useful it is being adapted and implemented on other websites.

The Product Inquiry Form (Manager) is a Joomla component which can be used to create custom forms depending on the initial choice of product (or service) by the visitor. It is a great tool for creating an inquiry form, where customers only have to fill out the questions according to their choices.

The form consists of three pages where the content of the first two pages are dependent on the option selected at the start of the form. The third page is customer information.

The administrative interface allows for easy editing, adding and rearranging of questions including setting the type of question. Optional pricing can be added to every question and will be displayed in the form. The form is bilingual and compatible with Joomfish, uses Language files for the customer interface, and sends confirming email messages after the form is submitted. The emails send make use of a template, determined by the product choice and which are also bilingual.

All inquiries are saved and can be exported as CSV file from the backend making it easy to integrate into any office database. Of course every time an inquiry is made a copy is send to the administrative email address.
